The Brick Lab is an established children's activity business delivering fun, hands-on LEGO building and STEM challenges in primary schools.
We're now offering individuals the opportunity to launch their own local Brick Lab clubs using our existing programme, branding and resources.
Our sessions combine creative LEGO building with practical challenges that encourage problem-solving, teamwork and imagination. Children get to design, build, test and improve their creations, all while having fun.
As a Brick Lab licensee, you'll receive:
The model is straightforward. You arrange to run an after-school club at a local primary school, enrol children and deliver weekly LEGO STEM sessions.
Our existing clubs typically operate using:
At full capacity, a single club can generate between £672 and £1,344 per term, depending on the term length, before operating costs.
You can deliver sessions yourself or recruit staff to run them, giving you the flexibility to build a business around your existing commitments.
There's also the opportunity to expand by establishing additional clubs at other schools within your territory.
We've designed The Brick Lab licensing opportunity to be accessible without requiring a large initial investment.
There are no expensive retail premises or dedicated commercial units required. Clubs typically operate from existing school facilities, helping to keep overheads manageable.
The Brick Lab could suit parents, teaching assistants, educators, existing children's activity providers or anyone interested in running a practical, creative business.
You don't need to be a qualified teacher or LEGO expert. Our programme provides the structure and activities, allowing you to focus on delivering enjoyable sessions and building relationships with local schools.
We're looking for people who are organised, reliable, enthusiastic about working with children and willing to put in the effort to establish clubs in their area.
Appropriate safeguarding procedures, background checks and insurance will be required before delivering sessions.
The Brick Lab isn't simply a business concept. We've already developed and delivered our programme in real primary schools, refining our activities around what children enjoy and what works in an after-school setting.
We understand the practicalities of approaching schools, managing bookings, preparing equipment and delivering sessions within the limited time available after the school day.
Our aim is to share that experience with new operators, giving them the resources and guidance to establish their own clubs without having to develop everything from scratch.
You'll be running your own local business, supported by an established brand and a structured programme.
We're currently inviting enquiries from prospective operators across the UK.
Whether you're interested in running one club yourself or building a network of after-school clubs in your local area, we'd be happy to discuss the opportunity.
