Percurra Home Care franchise: management model available, Nationwide
Want to own a business that makes a real difference, but keep your current job, portfolio or lifestyle? Percurra's management franchise lets you own a home care business while an experienced Registered Care Manager runs the day-to-day.
You lead the business. You set the direction, track the numbers and build local relationships, usually in a few hours a week once the branch is set up. Your Care Manager looks after recruiting carers, care planning, rotas, compliance and client care.
About Percurra
Percurra has been providing domiciliary care since 2008, when it was founded in Nottingham by Gill Heppell. It now has around 15 service areas. The brand offers private and personal-budget care for older people and working-age adults, which gives a franchise more than one source of income.
Why a light-touch management franchise?
· Demand for care at home keeps rising as the UK population ages.
· You don't need a care background. Percurra's systems and your Care Manager handle the operations.
· It suits investors, business owners and professionals who want a second business.
· It's a recurring-revenue business that serves your local community.
· You get a clear plan for recruiting and keeping your Registered Manager and care team.
What you get
· Full help registering with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
· Help recruiting and training your Care Manager.
· Operations manual, care systems, policies and quality checks.
· Help with local marketing and getting your first clients.
· Ongoing support from head office and regular performance reviews.
The investment
· Franchise fee: £32,500 VAT.
· Management service fee: 6.5% of turnover.
· Working capital: about £38,000, which includes the Care Manager's salary while the branch grows.
· Help is available to arrange finance through the main UK banks' franchise teams.
Expected R.O.I.
Current investors are achieving 19% once fully established!
