Our sell side client is an education technology business. It was established in 2012, the platform provides evidence capture, assessment tracking against an extensive proprietary framework library, statutory reporting and parent engagement for more than 260 specialist school customers.
Key highlights:
Growth: The February 2026 Schools White Paper introduces a statutory Individual Support Plan duty from September 2029, creating a compliance-driven demand tailwind. Current penetration is roughly 15% of UK special schools, with 10,000+ SEN units in mainstream schools untouched. A dedicated sales hire joins in September 2026, and an AI development programme is underway with a leading UK university.
Operations and handover: Fully remote team of 10 covering development, account management and customer support. The founder is retiring after 14 years and will support a 1-2 year transition. Succession hires are already in place.
