I am the author of the New Beginning Wood series of books and there are 17 in the series. 4 are published, with the next one due out in November. You would have rights to sell them in the shop and purchase them at cost price, and with 2 new books a year, it brings added interest and revenue. Although it is a new business, the books have had a great local following built up over the last 2 years.
The positioning of the shop could not be better. It is on the main road. There is a bus stop 20 yards away that runs to and from Newcastle and Morpeth. Ample parking in the town which is all free of charge. The beach is 30 yards behind the shop. It is next to the main square where all the summer shows take place (at least 5 a year). In addition, there are several other opportunities for stalls at the local pantomime (4 nights), Christmas Fair, and fairs at the local maritime centre.Â
In addition to the above, the rent is paid up until March, which is the start of the new contract. The rent is £1500 per quarter.Â
