Fikä has developed one of the most fiercely loyal groups of regular customers in town.

For many people, Fikä isn't somewhere they occasionally stop for coffee. It's part of their routine.

People know each other here. Customers have become friends. Dogs come through the door knowing exactly where the biscuit jar is. People are greeted by name.

From the beginning, the idea behind Fikä was to create something that felt more like a community space than simply another coffee shop.

Our annual Christmas Day opening perhaps sums that up best.

Every Christmas we open our doors so that anyone who might otherwise spend the day alone has somewhere to come, have a coffee and be around other people.

That community, trust and loyalty has taken five years to build.

The new owner doesn't have to start from zero.

THE LOCATION

Fikä occupies the prominent front section of a large, established salon in the heart of Bournemouth town centre.

This gives the business the unusual advantage of operating as its own independent destination while also sitting at the front of a much larger established business.

The premises costs are exceptionally low for a town-centre coffee shop:
