'What a fabulous small business, such a great idea!' This is a regular comment from clients.. they love the fact that they can order all their crockery, glassware, linens, decor etc for their event with peace of mind that it will arrive in pristine condition and then after the party we collect it all and take it away to clean...no washing up for the client!
Whilst this is a necessity for some events that take place in outdoor situations such as marquees with no washing facilities, we are now also finding that it's becoming very popular with large parties staying in air bnb's or hosting family gatherings at home or in local village halls - let face it, no one wants to do the wash up after the event!
We have also found that clients are becoming more invested in the table settings and want - 'nice china' or stoneware, 'soft linen' napkins and gleaming glassware! All of these are included in our reluctant sale!
We have also created a niche with our set up and styling service where we turn up at the venue and completely transform a room with crisp table linens, beautiful tableware and then we add in any of our decor or the clients decor and place names, favours etc, anything they have visualised but don't want to be doing on the day of their event!
Caterers love us! Gone are the days of caterers lugging around crockery from the 1980's, the truth is, caterers just want to serve delicious food and then go home afterwards. Most mobile caterers have moved away from providing their own crocks as they just don't need to anymore and as the clients have become more style concious they wouldn't be able to keep up with trends. Washing up would never be their priority either, just a means to an end, whereas we pride ourselves on our cleaning and stand proud when we deliver to an event knowing every last knife and glass will be sparkling!
