An opportunity to acquire, as a single combined transaction, two established over-the-counter (OTC) cough and throat medicine brands, each supported by a current UK Marketing Authorisation granted by the MHRA.

Sanderson's Throat Mixture (PL 19664/0002) is a heritage throat remedy with a genuinely loyal, repeat-purchase customer base — including a cult following among musical theatre performers and professional singers and voice users. It is currently sold exclusively through Amazon (UK) with no marketing spend, yet remains profitable and cash-generative. A contract manufacturer is named on the licence, giving the buyer continuity of supply.

Hill's Balsam Chesty Cough (PL 19664/0004) is an established chesty-cough remedy whose authorisation is maintained but which is not currently marketed — presenting a clear relaunch opportunity. The buyer would need to appoint a contract manufacturer to resume production.

The brands have been held as non-core assets, so no marketing has been applied and distribution has been single-channel. The current results should therefore be read as a starting point rather than a ceiling: marketing, multi-channel retail listings and a Hill's relaunch all remain untapped growth levers for a motivated acquirer.
