Location

Hamble is a bustling village on the outskirts of Southampton with a quintessential ‘village’ culture. There are good train and bus links to/from Southampton and Portsmouth as well as a dedicated cycle path to Netley and a passenger ferry to Warsash. The cobbled High Street leading down to the Quay is particularly picturesque and with its abundance of eateries, forms quite an attraction for visitors from within Hamble and neighbouring areas. The village attracts a variety of visitors including families, retirees, dog walkers, coastal walkers, sailing crews as well as local industry contractors and workers (GE Aerostructures, BP Oil, Cooper Vision).

The village is one of the key sailing hubs in the South of England with the population, more than 5000, tripling in the summer sailing season with visitors from across the world. There are three marinas within walking distance, several sailing schools and three major yacht clubs plus The Royal Yachting Association’s Headquarters.

Additionally, there is a side room with additional entrance and WC, perfect for private hire or additional seating for 22. The segregated style of layout provides great event spaces for small to medium size events from 20-60 guests.
