We run dementia specific day care clubs in community venues Mon-Fri 10am to 4pm. Each daycare service aims to slow progression of the disease by working on all the things that are either proven or likley to slow dementia down. Whilst nobdy can stop the disease we have proven time and time again that we can enhnce peoples lives and provide a framework that gives them more time at home with ther loved ones.
Whilst a club member is with us their primary carer who is often an elderly spouse gets a much needed guilt free day of respite which is hugely valued.
The clubs feel more like a friendly social centred club and because we rent community spaces just when we need them it means we don’t incur the high costs of owning a dedicated building.
The community value we provide and the way we change people’s lives for the better makes this a business that is rewarding in more ways than one.
