Mobile food and drinks trailer with a pitch at a busy train station in the BCP area for sale. Custom made to fit the space. All electric, with a built in extractor fan and space to add an oven to branch out into hot food. The pictures show a coffee machine and grinder but they are not included with the sale. We recommend that if you wish to continue selling barista coffee, you lease a coffee machine and grinder from your beans supplier that way if anything goes wrong they will repair it, as this will happen often because we are in a hard water area. The 2 fridges are included.
Footfall at the station was 484,000 people in 2024/25, the station is showing a steady increase in footfall each year since COVID. The pitch fee is £90 per calendar MONTH plus 10% of your takings AFTER the initial £900 in takings.

The station is manned 7 days a week with toilet facilities, taxi rank and a large car parking area and a car parking permit provided with the leasing agreement for parking at 2 train stations. The station has a volunteer group that come regularly to maintain the flower beds and beautify the station, plus they are open to the idea of putting an automated coffee machine in the waiting room on the up line for extra revenue.

There are 2 trains and hour heading east, 1 to Waterloo and one to Winchester, and 2 trains an hour heading west 1 to Weymouth and one to Poole. The train company are also looking to introduce a 3rd hourly train service running from Wareham to Brockenhurst in the near future.
The area has NO competition in the immediate vicinity so you will have a captive market when things go wrong with the trains, which they often do. Be aware that if you do wish to take the pitch you will have to sign a new leasing agreement with the managing company. We have been running the pitch for 1 year now and have established the business but we are finding that we have overstretched ourselves with our other business and we can't commit the time and effort needed to build this business.

The morning commuter base is steady and varied with the majority, affluent commuters heading to London. The station is next to a junior school and is used by a lot of parents as a cut through to get to the school, this means an even higher footfall than the station adverises.  The station is used by all the other schools in the area plus the local college's, this is an untapped customer base and something that is a sales revenue worth exploring. If you are looking to start up your own business without the financial strain that comes with starting up a new enterprise and a guaranteed instant income, plus a business that is a blank slate that you can put your own ideas and identity into, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal, with a low monthly pitch fee and NO council rates to pay.
