Established Wedding and Events Styling Business for Sale in Fife & Stirlingshire | Bookings, Stock & Venue Relationships Included
A rare opportunity to acquire an established, profitable and actively trading wedding and event styling business covering Fife & Stirlingshire.
The business has been successfully built over more than five years and comes with confirmed bookings, a varied stock package, established social media and online presence and strong relationships with a number of well-known wedding venues across the area. The sale is due solely to the current owner relocating and offers a new owner the chance to step into an established business with existing customers, venue connections and future bookings already in place, while benefiting from the support and recognised Ambience Venue Styling brand.
This wedding and event styling business is very well established within the area and benefits from strong working relationships with venues in and around the areas of Hamilton & Bothwell, Stirling & Bridge of Allan, Callander and St Andrews. Ambience Fife & Stirlingshire also benefits from the fantastic brand awareness in the area, closely neighbouring our successful Edinburgh franchisees.
This acquisition would suit an entrepreneurial individual, a couple looking to share the running of the business on a part-time basis, or an existing business owner seeking to take over an established operation with a proven trading history, existing customers, forward bookings and the infrastructure of a recognised national brand already in place.
Bookings:
The business has a substantial diary of confirmed future weddings already secured. These bookings provide the incoming owner with visibility over future revenue from the point of takeover, rather than requiring them to build an order book from scratch.
A detailed schedule of transferable future bookings and anticipated profit will be made available to serious prospective purchasers as part of the confidential sales information.
The business currently works with two fully trained freelance team members, both experienced in floristry and venue styling, who have indicated that they would be happy to continue supporting the business on an as-needed basis following the sale, if required by the new purchaser.
Relationships:
The current owner has worked at a number of beautiful venues in the area and the purchaser would benefit from a preferred supplier status at The Old Course Hotel St Andrews, The Fairmont St Andrews, Kinkell Byre, The Rhynd, Cambo House, The Cowshed Crail, Backhouse Rossie Estate, and Balbirnie House. These relationships provide an excellent stream of leads and earning potential for the purchaser.
Social media:
The purchaser would receive active social media pages with a following of over 3k on Instagram - driving further leads for the business and showcasing a high standard of work.
Stock:
The purchaser will receive a carefully curated collection of wedding styling stock valued at approximately £4,000, including table décor, ceremony styling pieces, candle ware, vases, plinths, decorative hire items and other reusable design elements used across the business’s existing wedding portfolio.
For confirmed future bookings already in place, the incoming owner would generally only need to purchase the relevant consumable items, such as flowers, candles and other single-use materials required for each event.
Please note: Storage space will be required for the stock. A garage-sized space would be sufficient, although the current owner rents a shipping container.
Growth Potential:
While already well established, there remains plenty of opportunity for the next owner to continue growing the Fife & Stirlingshire franchise.
With an existing client base, established venue relationships, active social media presence and regular stream of enquiries already in place, the foundations have been built for someone to take the business to it’s next stage.
Opportunities for further growth include developing additional venue relationships across the territory, increasing local marketing and networking activity, expanding the range of styling and event services offered and building further capacity within the business.
Experience required:
There’s no need for you to have previous experience in the wedding and events sector. With 20 years in business, we’ve consistently evolved our strategies and techniques to develop a proven business model that works. We provide all of the training, coaching, tools, and resources to support you in developing your very own wedding and event styling business within your local area. It would however greatly assist you from the start if you have transferrable skills from previous roles such as customer facing, delivering exceptional customer service, using computer systems, understanding how social media platforms work, and working to deadlines. We are looking for ambitious, creative, business-minded candidates with a drive to succeed.
Ongoing support:
Full comprehensive training and ongoing support - the level of training and coaching you’ll receive from our experienced team is something we’re very proud of. Franchisees are provided with in-depth training that has been developed over 20 years to ensure that even in a fast-paced industry, we’re constantly evolving and staying ahead. Covering everything from financial/business management, marketing, networking, and digital presence, a large part of our training is also focused on creating styling/designs that are consistent with our brand. It doesn’t end there; further training and workshops are organised to continually develop styling skills. You will have the freedom and creativity that being self-employed provides whilst still having the backing and support from our Head Office team as and when you need it.
A business that works around you:
You can run your Ambience franchise from home, provided you have storage space for your stock and an area in which to work on your laptop/hold Zoom consultations. It’s an ideal opportunity for one person to run the business full-time, or for two people to work together on a part-time basis, offering flexibility around how the business is managed.
Our franchise network is formed by a team that supports each other with advice that comes from years of personal experience; some of our franchisees have been with us for over 10 years! Our Head Office team is on hand Monday - Friday to assist you, and with a private Facebook group to interact with other franchisees and fortnightly online trade meetings, you’ll have access to incredibly valuable information as and when you need it.
