We’re launching the Mocha Mocha Coffee House franchise—and we’re doing it differently on purpose.
At a time when many franchise systems are built around upfront fees and ongoing royalties from day one, we’ve taken a step back and asked a simple question:
What would this look like if it were genuinely built for the operator first?
The result is a model designed to give early adopters the strongest possible chance of success—starting with 0% royalty for a select few founding partners.
This isn’t a marketing hook. It’s a strategic decision rooted in how we believe a franchise network should be built.
Why 0% royalty?
In most franchise systems, royalties begin the moment the doors open. That means pressure on cash flow from day one—often before the business has stabilised, built a loyal customer base, or optimised operations.
We think that’s backwards.
By removing royalties for a small group of early franchisees, we’re allowing operators to:
More importantly, it aligns us properly. Our success is tied to the long-term strength of the brand—not short-term extraction.
Why now?
Mocha Mocha Coffee House isn’t a concept. It’s a proven business.
Built over years of real trading, the model has been refined around what actually works: great Italian coffee, simple high-quality food, efficient operations, and a strong neighbourhood feel that drives repeat custom.
We’ve reached the point where the systems, supply chain, and brand identity are ready to scale—but we’re not interested in rapid, uncontrolled growth.
We’re focused on building it properly from the ground up.
That means starting with the right people.
A realistic, accessible investment
One of the biggest barriers to entering franchising—especially in the coffee sector—is cost.
We’ve worked hard to structure Mocha Mocha Coffee House franchise so that a new site can be launched for circa £75,000 all in.
That includes fit-out, equipment, and everything required to get trading.
Why does that matter?
Because it opens the door to a much wider group of capable operators—people who understand hospitality, customer service, and local markets, but may not have access to £200k investment levels often seen in the industry.
Lower entry cost, combined with 0% royalty, creates a very different financial dynamic:
Support from day one—and beyond
Removing royalties doesn’t mean removing support. In fact, it’s the opposite.
If we’re selecting a small group of founding partners, we have a responsibility to be fully invested in their success.
That means:
This isn’t a “set it and forget it” franchise model. It’s a partnership.
We’re building relationships with operators who want to grow, improve, and contribute to shaping the brand as it expands.
Why only a few?
Because the early stage of any franchise network defines everything that follows.
The first locations become the blueprint. They set the operational standards, the culture, the customer experience, and the commercial benchmarks.
If you scale too quickly, you dilute that.
If you choose the wrong partners, you spend years correcting it.
We’re deliberately keeping this initial phase tight—working with a small number of people who see the bigger picture and want to be part of building something, not just buying into it.
The bigger picture
This is about more than coffee.
It’s about building a franchise model that is fair, commercially viable, and aligned for long-term growth—for both franchisor and franchisee.
By combining:
—we believe we’re creating something that stands out in a crowded market.
Not louder. Just better structured.

Opportunities like this aren’t designed for everyone—and they shouldn’t be.
We’re looking for a handful of operators who understand what it means to build a business properly, who value support but also take ownership, and who want to grow alongside a brand from an early stage.
Because the foundations we lay now will shape everything that comes next.
If that resonates, it’s probably worth a conversation.
