We are reluctantly selling our little shop after 3 amazing years. We are mainly a cake/cold sandwich shop but do sell coffee and a popular breakfast range. We have a strong loyal customer base and our very own app and website which doubles as an ordering portal (wipes out the huge fees from the likes of Just Eat etc) We now have 834 registered customers who use this and who 'belong' to us from a marketing perspective. If things are starting off slow, we can send out a marketing boost via the app to push sales which always works a treat. We are also on Just Eat and use this as a hook to gain new customers, who we then convert to using our own portal. This business would ideally suit someone who likes to bake their own cakes and other creations, or has someone in the family who could although that being said when i couldn't keep up with demand i used to buy in from local bakers who i'd be happy to put in touch with prospective new owners. We currently only open Thursday Friday and Saturday, again due to health reasons but also due to us having a young family. We take an incredible amount of revenue in just 18 trading hours each week. In busy periods, like Easter, Mothers Day etc we do open Sundays for 5 hours and this is always hugely succesful. In our first year we opened 6 days a week, however we just couldnt manage with our family life and other business commitments so reduced the days. There is definite room for expansion in opening more days. Please note: We are NOT an eat in business. We have one table and four chairs which are mainly used for customers waiting for orders with the odd person choosing to sit in, we are predominatly a take away shop with a strong delivery service (we have our own self employed driver). Please do not just turn up at the shop or call the shop phone to discuss this, we are very much still trading and work on the business day to day and cannot stop service to discuss this during opening hours. Enquiries via rightbiz only.
