Casa Mia Restaurant is situated in a prominent position on the south side of Nethertown Broad Street which is just a short distance from Dunfermline city centre. It sits on a small parade with some parking available directly in front and a private car park available for use to the rear.

Dunfermline is one of Fife’s largest and fastest growing cities with excellent road links via the M90 motorway providing access to Perth (27 miles) to the north and Edinburgh (17 miles) to the south via the Queensferry Crossing.

The restaurant is located just a short distance from Dunfermline train station which also provides excellent regular services to both Edinburgh and further afield.

Dunfermline attracts tourists all year round to its beautifully preserved Abbey and is also known as the birthplace of well-known industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, who’s birthplace museum is located not far from the business.

Internally, the restaurant is fitted out to the highest standard throughout with a bright and airy welcoming feel to it. The restaurant is open plan with a selection of moveable tables and chairs along with several sections of booth seating.

Our clients purchased this former nursery property in 2007 and converted it into a stunning 70 cover restaurant with the highest quality of fixtures and fittings throughout. Over the years the business has built up an excellent reputation in the town both for locals and from those travelling from further afield. After operating the business for around 10 years, the business was then let to another Italian operator who has successfully operated since 2017.

The property owners have placed the property on the market to concentrate on other business interests that they are looking to expand. Although trading very successfully in its current format as an Italian restaurant, it is thought the space available and the condition throughout would lend itself to being suitable for any number of different international cuisines.

There is an option to take on the business as well as the property or the current tenant would happily stay should a buyer just be looking for an investment. The current agreement is a licence to occupy for 10 years from 17/05/2024 with an annual rent of £28,600.
