The Ponte Vecchio restaurant enjoys a busy city centre location close to the cathedral at the top end of Bridge Street on the junction with St Nicholas and King Street, a busy thoroughfare for those walking to and from the town centre and visiting the cathedral, being one of the busiest and most prominent tourist attractions in the region.  The subject premises have operated as a licensed Italian restaurant since 2007 during which time it has built a loyal and reliable customer base due to its modern creative Italian menu.  Although currently operating as an Italian restaurant, the premises have for a number of years offered different cafe, bar and restaurant premises and would be suitable for alternative styles of catering and entertainment if required.
