Hi, hi — for personal reasons and because we can’t run two businesses at the same time, we are putting our bakery–coffee shop up for sale. It has been in this location for over 10 years, is in Luton, and has a loyal customer base. Our offering includes bread, quick‑service dishes such as hot dogs, burgers, soups, cakes, freshly made doughnuts, and sandwiches made with our own bread. We also have buyers for our rolls, bread, and doughnuts.
There are many warehouses and companies in the area, and three residential blocks with over a hundred flats are being built right across the street. Equipment includes refrigerators, a professional coffee machine with a grinder, a soft‑serve ice cream machine, an oven, and machines used for producing bread and pastries. There is a sizable back area. Currently, there are three tables for customers inside and three outside, with room to expand. There is also a large walk‑in fridge. Two cars can park in front of the premises, and there is a parking space for an employee at the back.
Currently, the shop is open from 6:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays. From spring to autumn we are also open on Sundays until 18:00. We have a list of suppliers and all the know‑how. The place has huge potential to be used as a fast‑food restaurant such as a kebab shop, pizzeria, or takeaway, because it can be easily rearranged. New hot dishes worked very well for us, and we are sure that introducing delivery would significantly increase profits.
Current turnover is about £12,000–£14,000 per month.
We have a friendly landlord who is very supportive.
