The Fiddichside Inn occupies a prominent roadside trading location on the A95 on the eastern outskirts of Craigellachie. Craigellachie is a small and attractive village at the confluence on the River Fiddich and the mighty River Spey. The village offers easy access north and south via the A95 and A941.

The location is world famous for two outstanding interconnected reasons: The River Spey and the home of whisky production. The River Spey is the 3rd longest river in Scotland noted for its salmon fishing as well as the natural waters for some of the most world-famous distilleries and producers. The Fiddichside Inn boasts an array of near neighbours including, Glenfiddich, Macallan, Balvenie, Glenfarclas and John Dewar & Sons.

Whisky and fishing on the river brings in local business as well as national and international tourism into the area all year round. The attraction of the area is also compounded with some of the best scenery and outdoor pursuits close by including: hill walking, sandy beaches and dolphin watching on the nearby Moray coast as well as winter skiing at the Lecht and nearby Cairngorms.

Access to the public bar is via an entrance vestibule at the north side of the property leading through an entrance hall into a cosy and traditional “Highland” bar, with real fire and enormous traditional character.
