But all the machinery and equipment remains in situ and in good working order, ready for anyone who wishes to re-open the business in spring. My Father and Uncle established Vera Dry Cleaners back in 1954 in Hanley. I took over the business in 1986. I have enjoyed nearly 40 years of healthy trading. We have always focused on giving a good quality, friendly service. We have many loyal customers that have stayed with us for many years. I am now approaching retirement age, and have decided to put the business on the open market. The sale includes the property with all the machinery and equipment and ongoing trade.
Ground floor at the back of the shop area stands a Duval M35E Dry Cleaning machine. This is a 35lb Perc machine that has been well maintained and gives excellent reliable service.
On the first floor we have two Hoffman presses, a flatbed with steam iron, a steam former and a spotter. All equipment in good working order.
A small room houses a Fulton 10E steam boiler. This provides a reliable 60lb of steam pressure to the equipment upstairs and the Dry Cleaning machine downstairs, also a very efficient fan heater in the shop area.
There is vehicular access to the shop front for collection and delivery.
There are metal shutters fitted to the doors for security.
The business is not VAT registered.
Handover advice/training on using the machinery would be readily available if required.
