We are My Daily Bread, we live by the sea and over the last 10 years have built our business up from an empty unit to a thriving bakery/delicatessen. My Daily Bread are a popular local Artisan bakery and patisserie, located in a mews, which is ideally situated close to the town centre and railway station. We are also blessed in that there is a large office complex opposite that provides us with a great lunchtime trade opportunity (both regular and opportunistic footfall). All the lunchtime customers are delighted by our range of ready made sandwiches, cakes and coffees, many becoming regulars (and even friends!).
As an adjunct to the bakery side of the business we also have introduced a delicatessen area that is stocked with high quality products aimed to both supplement and contrast with the bakery selection. This has proved to be a very useful source of business generation.
We have built up a client base that encompasses both local businesses, cafes and shops as well as over the counter sales. Through our website and Instagram accounts we have developed a successful Internet sales arm to the bakery and feel that this could with even more development provide a very useful extra revenue stream to what is already a very successful business. As part of the sale we would include the website.
Here at My Daily Bread we pride ourselves on providing our clientele with the highest quality products, organic flour is used to make our breads, we also provide a range of gluten free breads and sourdoughs. To confirm this effort to excel we have achieved a 5* rating on Google.
As part of the sale condition all equipment and goodwill will be included in the price enabling the purchaser to start trading almost immediately without the complication of having to source suitable equipment or stock. The business will therefore be sold as a going concern. In order to facilitate a smooth transition to new ownership it could be possible for a hand holding period and if necessary, instruction on product production, along with contact details for consumable materials.
Should the new purchaser require it there is a possibility to expand into adjoining unit/s, although this would have to be negotiated with the leaseholders (details can be provided to interested parties), this would further enhance the business potential and generate a greater income.
The current rent is £535 per month, and the lease has recently been extended for 3 years, again with negotiation with the leaseholder it can be extended further.
