Abby Mouldings have been established in Devon for nearly 40 years, manufacturing and fitting quality plaster mouldings for domestic and commercial properties. We are proud of our experienced team of highly skilled craftsmen, who have helped transform tired old buildings across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset into beautiful works of art. Each client is individual and here at Abby Mouldings we value that individuality, which helps us produce work that all our customers are pleased with. We have earned a reputation for excellent quality of work and at times sticking to tight deadlines. We believe we are leaders in our field in the South West of providing excellent restoration of plaster mouldings.

We also offer a complete restoration service including cleaning cornices to remove years of paint and grime to reveal the entire original details again.

All of our products are manufactured to the highest standard by our craftsmen using traditional methods and plasters, hessian and timber lathes. In addition to our comprehensive range of plaster cornices, ceiling centres, corbels, arch mouldings niches and wall plaques on display in our showroom, we are able to offer a complete matching or restoration service to recreate any existing cornice or external moulding required.
We have worked closely with interior designers here in the Southwest and London regions, along with the National Trust and other Heritage bodies.

We, as the current owners since 2006 are now looking to retire and this business is being sold as a going concern along with the following :-

3 vans / vehicles all serviced and looked after,
Numerous tools, scaffold towers, ladders and items required for carrying out everyday works
Over 150 different moulds (silicon and fibreglass) to enable manufacture of the Cornice, Ceiling Centres, Corbels, Fireplaces and numerous products.
1 very large boxed silicon mould of a section of the Parthenon Marbles ( very rare and sells for approx 1k each)
A  rented, fully equipped secure workshop in its own gated compound,including workbenches etc and a shipping container which acts as a showroom as well as storage of stock. 
Enormous goodwill and repeat customers are also part of what the present owners have built into the business since their ownership.

It is an ideal business for someone in the trade ,maybe an ex plasterer, who like the current owner did, wishes to come away from the everyday heavy manual work to a more relaxed business and rewarding work. The business would also support and would be a welcome addition to a current plastering business and therefore would offer far reaching expansion etc if required.

The current owners have built up a very strong reputation for the standard and quality of work that they have carried out and for this reason the business would be a good asset to anybody interested.
