We have established a silver Jewellery business over the last 25 years where we exhibit in prestigious events and shows throughout the UK.
We exhibit in prestigious events and shows throughout the UK. We used to do nine months a year, but because we are getting near to retiring, we are now doing four months a year, although this still produces around £130000 to £150,000 in four months.
Basically, we have our own spaces and positions in 20 prestigious events throughout the UK and we take the same position every year so that our customers know where to come to see us. These positions are hard to get because if somebody starts a new, they will not get the right location. Basically, the business is going to large shows like the Royal Highland Show, the Great Yorkshire Show, and The Royal Cornwall Show. We have our allocated pitches with different companies and organisations - We have had the same pitches for many years and we have many customers who return every year to look for us and buy more silver. At the moment, we are working in 22 shows in four months but it could be expanded to many more shows over eight or nine months. We already have the best pitches available in each show so we have the opportunity to maximise sales.Â
The business will involve travel to Mexico at least once a year or maybe more if you prefer. We used to go to Mexico three or four times a year, but now, with WhatsApp and the Internet, we deal with our suppliers and maybe only go once a year to get everything shipped.
We are retiring to Mexico if necessary we could provide help if necessary
The business is providing my wife and I with a substantial income enabling us to Have a sufficient property portfolio to receive income in our retirement.
We would like the business to go to somebody who is very interested in it and would continue the work as it’s sentimental to us as we have worked together for 25 years building the business
Possibly, the purchase could work the same as us for months a year, or if they wanted to, you could work eight or nine or 10 months a year and bring in sufficiently more income than we do at present.
The price of the business includes Marquee for when we do outdoor events display items and probably around £120-£140,000 of silver Jewellery, which is more than the price we are asking for the business.
Usually, the working tales work 3 to 4 days a week at Show events and include Travel but the profit that we put in after we stay in three or four-star hotels and details every night, and we have a brand-new Volkswagen transporter van every six months in case of breakdowns at the cost of £200 a weekÂ
The business gives the purchaser the opportunity to have complete freedom and develop it any way that they would like
