The business, Timber-Treasures is situated in a pedestrianised and very touristy part of central Bath: 5, Abbey Green, Bath, BA1 1NW. Full of vibrant pavement cafés the Green attracts visitors. The Roman Baths Museum is less than 50 mètres away and visible from the front door of the shop. The Abbey, another of the UK’s top tourist attractions is less than 100 meters away and also visible from the shop. The shop has a continuous tourist footfall brought into the Green by its uninterrupted use by film companies (eg MGM and Netflix) over the last 5 years and the hourly tourist groups that pass through the locality seeking memories of the many TV series and films it has appeared in. The shop is sited in a large frontage, grade 2* building on the south side of the Green which it dominates.

The shop is now almost unique given the demise of most wood-based craft shops and gift chains elsewhere in the UK over the last two decades. We only sell handmade products and this gives the shop its appeal to the A-C1 visitors who tend to frequent the city of Bath. A large percentage of the range of products in the shop are the design and intellectual property of the business owners. Details of these will be made available to interested parties in due course and all necessary information will be made fully available to the eventual buyer to ensure an uninterrupted takeover. Just to provide a taster our uninterrupted flow of American tourists find the calendars designed, made and individually signed, dated and provenances for wood type by David Gladden, the wood turner whose business it is to be irresistible.
