This is a unique business based in Hampshire, importing and selling Handmade Terracotta Pots from the beautiful Mediterranean island of Crete. We operate this business from our home in Hampshire, where we have a large garden to accommodate the pots.
The business can be relocated to anywhere in the UK if you have a large garden or if you have premises. We import all pots directly from the pottery in Crete and we have an excellent agreement and healthy relationship with the pottery owner.
We mainly sell at Retail directly to the public (customers can book to view by appointment). We also sell on our Amazon and Ebay shops. We supply a few garden centres, but we prefer to Retail the products ourselves.
The sale includes our beautiful website and business domain name in .co.uk and also .com versions. We also own another very valuable domain name, one which is the best to have for this business. This is also included in the sale.
We have a very active and popular Instagram account with 4900 followers. Also, a Facebook page.
We currently operate this business from our home. We have a large garden and can accommodate the business well. We are in Hampshire, but it can be relocated to anywhere in the UK. You can operate this business from home or from an independent premises.
We have limited competition in the market and these pots are difficult to obtain as the potteries in Crete are all running at full capacity and are not taking on new customers. So our relationship and agreement with the pottery is very valuable.
This is a Retirement Sale. I have had health problems for the last 18 months and therefore I have limited the amount of time I've spent on the business. There is a huge amount of scope to expand the business. We stopped exhibiting at garden shows and markets due to the physical effort, but these can be started up again.
