Cheltenham Tatty Bumpkin children's yoga business (Children Inspired by Yoga)
For summer 2024, I'm looking for a buyer for my children's yoga business. You don't need to be a teacher as all training is provided - or you can have other teachers work for you and manage them accordingly.
Very briefly - the business is the Cheltenham territory within a nationwide franchise, with other franchisees having territories in different parts of the country.

It's a strong and profitable business (as it's part of a franchise there's excellent support, systems and all training in place, as well as story plans for the whole academic year, props, mats, etc) which I've built up over the past 2.5 years. I run it as an outside provider on a contract basis, taking sessions into nurseries / preschools / primary schools etc.
I should add you don't need to be a yoga teacher to take on the business - training is provided - you just need to be someone who loves working with and for children, with a drive to take the business forward as there are a number of contracts I've had in settings over the past 2.5 years keen to replicate like-for-like for 2024/5.
All information is available for the buyer to pick up as the centralised system where I've kept forensic notes on all communication / bookings / payments / etc is part of the sale - basically it's a little black book with all the relationships in there that I've worked to build and maintain that I'd be handing over.
Last year the net operating figure (ie - what I take home after overheads and royalties) was just under £10,000 so I'm open to offers from buyers - I've been advised to sell for 2 to 2.5 times this figure but am looking for a quick sale. Turnover was close to £20,000 ie there's every room to reduce overheads to boost the net operating figure.
I'm starting a new life chapter in Bath after summer to train with a PGCE (secondary modern languages) so it's to fund the move and the fees.
