The garden eatery is an enchanting, unique restaurant located in the heart of Bloomsburys in Biddenden, Kent.
Originally set up in 2007 as a 26 seater cafe-style restaurant it has since expanded and now boasts 60 seats inside and 30 seats on the wonderful large patio terrace surrounded by tranquil, mature gardens outside.
The Garden eatery is well known for superb breakfasts, homemade lunches and sumptuous high teas, all sourced from local suppliers. The current menus draw inspiration from creative cooks such as Ottolenghi, Anna Jones, Hugh Fearnly Wittingstall with a focus on quality, sustainablility and ethical food prodcution. Where possible, all food is either grown on site or locally sourced with minimal food miles using our tried and tested local suppliers.
The space is alive with creativity and is both a relaxing and inspiring space, with the extensive use of eclectic upcycled, repurposed fixtures and fittings adding to its warm, welcoming charm. While this is evident in the entirety of Bloomsburys, it is particularly focused in the Garden Eatery, helping to cement it as the focal hub of the whole site.
Other on site businesses are open 7 days a week, while the Garden eatery is currently open to the public from Wednesday through to Sunday from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. However the restaurant is Licensed to open from 7.00 am until 11.00pm 7 days a week should the purchaser decide to expand their hours of operation.
We are renowned for our delicious coffee, healthy retreat spa lunch menu, numerous private events, high tea and music events. Engaging both visiting tourists and locals, we are a popular destination that brings together various elements of the community.
As an added convenience and attraction to our patrons, we are also fully licensed for alcohol, weddings, and music events.
There is much scope for further development of the Garden eatery with planning permission granted for a large additional space, should this be of relevance to interested parties. There is also the possibility of residential facilites available. Terms and conditions of sale are negotiable, dependent on the needs of the purchaser, from a simple license to operate all the way to fixed term lease purchase.
