We are selling our business having built it up after a period of closure due to the pandemic. The sales have been increasing steadily and there is potential to increase takings. Currently, we are open five days a week 9am to 2pm but there is scope for increasing hours of opening, for example, Bistro nights, Sunday lunches and facilitating local groups. We have had inquiries to offer home delivery meals which are very much in demand in the local area. We have a loyal customer base we are hopeful someone will take over and continue to offer them a service. The cafe offers an eat-in service but we have also had an increasing demand for takeaway food and drinks and have also been approached by local schools to offer holiday lunches for play schemes.
We are closing due to personal health reasons and believe that someone with energy and enthusiasm can build on our work
