I have been in the salon business for about 10 years. We started with a small place and gradually expanded to a bigger space in the year 2017. The salon was thriving and growing exponentially. We brought in a turnover of approximately £150K. We had a staff of five members. Then Covid hit that caused a sharp decline in revenue. The staff also had to take leaves of absence with the whole situation going on.
We have an array of top-quality equipment. It includes a fully serviced 'VersaSpa' spray tanning booth and a 'Hasbro' v6 sunbed. Also, a fully-operational infra-red sauna, a CACI ultra machine, and an Elemis Biotech machine. Not to mention we have seven treatment rooms with three fully functioning nail bars and a kitchen. Keeping in mind the limited mobility of certain people who can't access the stairs. We have a treatment area downstairs as well.
Currently, we have three part-time staff members. I was planning to turn this space into a training academy. However, the situation prevents me from doing so. This space can be great for a beauty therapist or a beauty teacher who wants to start a training academy.
I am planning on switching careers so, I have to sell the business.
