Why am I selling this business at slightly over value of stock only? Because I love the business, and would love someone to take it on and scale it. I simply do not have the time.
Roaming Rex operates on Ebay (account since 2004 - 50,000+ feedback, 99.8% positive) and Amazon (account since 2021 - 1,600+ feedback, 4.9/5.0 ranked).
It also owns and publishes it's own Shopify Website at www.roamingrex.co.uk, although this website has never had SEO work carried out or been updated. If you have the time to develop and market this domain it would be awesome - Roaming Rex has a great reputation with it's customers.
Since 2022 I have reduced the number of lines from 6,000 to less than 2,000. Downsizing is an ongoing project as I do not have the time to function as a buyer for the business.
We have relationships with 50+ of the UK's leading Media, Video Game, Merchandise, Toy, Music, Book suppliers. We receive 100+ email daily offering incredible stock at incredible rates, but I no longer have time to order these lines as my time is very limited. But if a new owner acts as a 'Buyer' - This business can fly.
The current stock could be moved over a week/weekend. The current office/warehouse is in Braintree (CM77 8JT) - due for renewal in October 2024 (all paid up until then). So the new owner can relocate very easily.
We have an existing relationship with Royal Mail (OBA at superb rates) which includes daily collections.
We use XERO for accounting.
We use Link My Books for Ebay/Amazon/Shopify accounting (this is automated and works incredibly well with Xero).
We use Channel Grabber for Stock management, Label printing and Order processing (this is also automated and works with ALL platforms).
I have managed to get the stock levels down to such a low level now that I am able to pick/pack and process the daily orders within 1-2 hours.
A new owner could re-establish new orders with 50+ suppliers or start selling their own white label products using the established systems infrastructure.
