Opened on 8th September 2022, Golden Linings is a Scandi family cafe, play space and children's retail store prominently based in the centre of Brighouse, West Yorkshire and online. Our Scandi style cafe and play space is designed to be a home from home where young families can unwind, connect and enjoy quality time together. Our children's retail business offers beautiful, sustainable, imagination- led toys, clothes and gifts for young children sold in store and on our Shopify website. We hold wholesale retail accounts with desirable and popular children’s brands including Little Dutch, Tender Leaf, Olli Ella, Liewood, Lanka Kade, Imani Collective and have wholesale accounts established on Faire and Ankor Store Marketplaces.
The Golden Linings brand has built an excellent reputation and community with a loyal customer presence in store and online. We currently have 1844 followers on instagram, 926 followers on Facebook, organically grown, with the potential to launch on TikTok. We have excellent reviews on Facebook with 5 star rating and Google with a 4.9 star rating.
The cafe and store is open throughout the week offering a locally sourced menu of light bites and treats, with supplier accounts with Slathwaite/Marsden based Roger’s Bakery and Darkwoods coffee. Our newly renovated cafe and play space occupies the ground floor of our 3 story building, offering free flow dining for up to 20 and play space with access through brand new bi-fold doors to our fully enclosed play and dining courtyard. Our first floor boasts studio space with potential for use fo hire for baby/toddler group sessions, a kitchen and a WC. Our second floor is available as a large open plan office space. As well as our excellent indoor facilities, we also have a spacious and completely contained outdoor courtyard, with seating currently for up to 22 people and a play area. Golden Linings is currently family owned and run with a Saturday member of staff. No other staff are employed.
