Conventional fish and chips takeaway, which also sells Doner kebab and burgers. Currently only operates 5 hours per day (16:00 - 21:00). Available on all popular delivery apps (Deliveroo, JustEat and UberEats) and also has own website with collection and delivery option available.

TAKINGS:  The owners have a full-time job, therefore the business is currently operating on a part-time basis. Currently, the weekly turnover is in the region of £1500 operating on a traditional menu over 6 days, only open 5 hours per day (Closed on Tuesdays). 

There’s plenty of scope for providing a regular delivery service all day and opening for longer hours, to cover lunch time too. You can also add to the menu and even introduce later trading which will definitely increase sales. 

TENURE:  Available on leasehold. Currently there is approximately 100 years remaining on the lease. Our current lease contract is for 7 years, which the landlord will renew every 7 years.

TRADING HOURS:  

Open 16:00 - 21:00 every day, apart from Tuesdays. The licence allows you to be open til 23:00 if you’re looking to extend the opening hours, to include lunch and evening time provision. 

ACCOMMODATION:  This is a Lock- Up shop, therefore no accommodation is included in the sale.

There is parking available for one car directly behind the shop (easy for deliveries) and further ample parking is available adjacent to the parade. This can be used by visitors and customers free of charge. 

BUSINESS PREMISES:  

The shop has undergone a full refurbishment in 2022, therefore everything is in excellent condition still. This includes: Fully glazed shop front with single door entrance/exit. The wide well appointed spacious interior is fitted with brand new tiles and non-slip tiled flooring throughout, with PVC hygienic cladding in the back kitchen and staff toilet. The shop is fronted by a brand new custom 3-pan UK-made counter frying range. 

The open plan kitchen space behind the fryer houses refrigeration equipment, base storage cupboards, further cooking equipment and wrapping tables. Continuing into the back kitchen, there is a preparation area which includes a double stainless steel sink, shelving, microwave, large double refrigerator and double freezers. An area has been already been built in the design for further installation of a stand alone potato peeler. At present, we use a farmer who cuts our chips and delivers them freshly with next day delivery. We also have a new oil filtration system (worth £4000) which ensures the food we prepare remains as fresh as possible. All cooking equipment is brand new (purchased mid-2022).

Brand new 3x LED TV Menu screens. The menu can be changed in-house, therefore there is no need to pay a professional each time you wish to change the menu. 

All paperwork required to run the business, including a full HACCP plan (worth £180) is included in the sale.

A small newly installed toilet is available (for staff use only).

Small indoor seating area for waiting customers provided opposite the till. Directly opposite the shop, there is the potential to use the outdoor space (after obtaining permission from the council).
