Based in the east midlands the company, originally founded over thirty years ago, is respected and well known to UK Police, Ambulance and Fire services as well as private sector and overseas customers.

The owner is now looking to sell and retire.

The niche speciality of the company is the development and manufacture of the highest standard lightweight, flame-retardant protective clothing, (Public Order, Intervention, Search and Rescue and Flight suits). They manufacture in the UK and use UK components and fabric wherever possible.

 Brexit had a minimal impact in terms of border and customs controls and similarly with Covid, the business continued to manufacture and trade as normal throughout the pandemic.

 The business trades from well appointed premises located close to a city centre and has occupied the building for over ten years.

The premises have been adapted to enhance and improve productivity and staff wellbeing.

 There are 16 members of staff including 4 part-time.

All the staff are experienced and loyal having worked throughout the pandemic to maintain production; the majority have worked for the company for many years.

 Currently the company has multiple strong contracts that equate to a significant proportion of total annual turnover.
