A brand new franchise concept that has been changing the way dementia is treated in the UK. The unique day club format is based upon a hugely successful dementia day care business based in North Yorkshire. The clubs promote independence, social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and friendship. All delivered in a safe environment with full personal care included. Each service offers an alternative to traditional home based care.

This franchise aims to find new franchise partners to setup and replicate what has been achieved in the areas we cover in and around North Yorkshire where we have grown the business to an almost £1million turnover.

The company is already franchising in Sheffield and Leeds and as far away as Exeter and now the national roll out has begun.

Franchise owners will manage various venues within an exclusive area and the business format can mean that the franchisee can be active within each venue or be a management franchisee overseeing the business as a whole.

The activities are varied and include everything from trips out to entertainers, reminiscence, art, active games etc. Our experienced Activities manager adapts our activities so that everyone can participate no matter what limitations they may have.

·       Our day clubs cater for 10-12 people and provide a full day of activities for those who attend.

·       Each of our day clubs run from 10am until 4pm in various venues.

·       We provide refreshments and snacks throughout the day and a two course lunch.

·       Transport options are available with our Rainbow mini bus fleet.

·       The day provides much needed respite for carers.

A problem for all care businesses is staff availability however care staff love what we do because it is day time work without unsociable shifts, and our clubs are nearly all Mon-Fri too which means carers get their weekends back. 

The franchise is very scalable and when fully optimised 8 venues can create a business generating over £900,000 per year with a higher than normal net profit. We have also arranged for unsecured funding to cover the majority of the startup investment.
