Beaumont Cars is a small business that is growing back to full strength after taking over from a 250K business that was operating before Covid 19 which went insolvent in 2021 for obvious reasons. Just over 2 years ago we started Beaumont Cars. We have lots of marketing material dating back up to 30years to be able to reach the same goal.
The company needs good management as at present it is being run from home by myself with a helper that gives me time off. As I am now in my retirement years I am winding down and refusing lots of work that I am not prepared to cover because of the hours I am working. Drivers that work for the company are earning great money for the hours that they are doing, as most of them only want to earn a good living wage and keep to set hours. New drivers will need to stick to a shift pattern to improve the turnover.
I myself have been in the business for over 40 years, running a company in this area for 30 years. I am prepared to stay on for up to a year to help the protentional buyer with bookings out of hours cover and marketing. I will also be defer a 50% payment for the business, and if the turnover is not more than the present day, I will sign an agreement to not ask for the other 50%. At present we have 5 drivers with driver 6 joining us in August. The previous company operated 12 drivers at its peak.
