Helen O'Grady Drama is a world renowned Drama Academy offering specialist drama classes to children and young people aged 4-17. It has been operating for over 40 years and is an incredibly popular after school activity.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, able to work independently, be good at managing time but most importantly creative with an excellent level of energy and imagination.
The post is part time but there is the opportunity for significant expansion. The business has the rights to operate within Oldham & Ashton, parts of North Manchester and Rochdale.
This post relates to taking over an established and successful business. The ideal candidate will:
- Be able to work independently and as part of a wider community.
- Good at forming relationships with schools, parents, children, staff and the wider community.
- Be able to communicate effectively in a variety of forms to create awareness of The Academy and support the continued growth of The Academy.
- Have experience working in a teaching capacity and have the abilty to teach engaging drama classes to children from a variey of ages and backgrounds.
- Have some experience working with children with additional support needs.
- Be creative, energetic and enthusiastic.
Please do be aware that this is a self employed post and so you will need to make arrangements for Tax and NI contributions. Applications and expressions of interest welcomed from serious applicants within the Rochdale, Oldham, Ashton or North Manchester Area.
The successful applicant, once all checks have been completed and funding secured, will be taking over the business as from September 2023 with training being provided over the Summer months.
