The Barnyard is in the centre of the picturesque market town of Ormskirk which is thirteen miles from Liverpool and nine miles from Southport. Ormskirk has a population of approximately 25,000 and is well known for its popular market days which have been taking place in the town centre for many years. The restaurant is situated in Wheatsheaf Walk a busy shopping arcade within the town centre.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Ground Floor – 38 Covers

The main entrance leads directly into the restaurant which is of a contemporary design. The furnishings consist of loose tables, chairs and 3 booth seating areas, the floor is wood throughout.

The bar servery is well designed and is equipped with wine and bottle beer cooling cabinets, a glass washer, an ice maker, a coffee machine and a Casio till. There is also a wide range of draught beer and lager dispense pumps and spirit optics.

Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilet facilities are located on this floor.

Outside Terrace – 20 Covers

This part of the restaurant is very popular with customers and is furnished with loose tables and chairs.  There are a number of portable heaters for cooler days. This area is fully licensed and has the relevant planning permissions.

First Floor – Kitchen

The kitchen is accessed via an internal staircase and comprises of a wide range of up-to-date catering fittings and equipment. There are a number of prep areas and storage for wet and dry foods. Bothe the kitchen and prep areas meet all local authority and public health hygiene regulations and has been awarded a 5-star award (maximum) from the council.

FIXTURES AND FITTINGS

All fixtures and fittings are to be included in the sale. Any items that are owned by a third party or personal to our clients will be exempt.

GENERAL
