BUSINESS OVERVIEW
BuyMyBiz is exclusively retained to find a purchaser for these established independent coffee shops. Over the past 5 years, the business has grown organically and built a well-respected reputation in a busy residential London suburb.
Long Established & Respected Business
There are currently two shops specialising in artisan coffee, freshly baked pastries and a selection of light snacks. One shop has the capacity for 30 covers internally, plus 22 externally and bakes the cakes and savoury for both shops, whilst the other shop offers 8 covers but is mainly takeaway only. There is a real opportunity for a new owner to grow the business by opening additional outlets and/or additional offerings such as barista coffee courses, private hire events or supper clubs in the evening. The larger shop has an A3 license so could expand to include evening trade and expanded brunch and lunch offerings.
Opportunity to Grow Market Share
An experienced management team currently oversee the day to day activities across the two shops, with the vendor taking a back seat. A full and mutually agreeable handover period will be provided.
REASON FOR SALE
After running the business for over 5 years, our client is preparing for a family relocation outside of the UK and believes the future business opportunity will be best realised in the hands of a new entrepreneurial owner or larger business with the experience, enthusiasm and resources to drive the business forward to the next level.
The Opportunity
Ideally, we seek an acquirer with the requisite experience and resources to take this business to the next level. Consideration will also be given to buyers with strong market or client synergies looking for a ‘bolt-on’ business that can add value to existing operations.
