SALE TO BE COMPLETED BY THE 30th OF NOVEMBER, FOR TAKEOVER TO START ON THE 1st OF DECEMBER. 

We are selling our family-owned and run play cafe assets and opportunity to take on the remaining lease till June 2027. It is an excellent opportunity for someone to make it their own. The reason behind the sale is a change in personal circumstances due to the pandemic and health issues. We can longer give it the time and love it needs to grow and expand to its full potential.

Unfortunately, we don't have the drive to push the business where it needs to go.

We specialise in offering a place for parents to enjoy coffee, homemade cake, and homemade food, whilst their children can play for a small fee.

The rent for the unit with the soft play structure and a commercial kitchen is £30,000 per annum vat. (3.5 years are left on the £30,000 lease.) There is plenty of parking in the car park and road parking. We have 8 spaces in our lease and temporary use of four spaces.

We have expanded during the pandemic to include a locally sourced bagel company and they are extremely popular on Deliveroo and Just Eat. We have created a bagel bar account on these platforms, which is building nicely in popularity. We now have a five-star fully fitted commercial kitchen ( rated in October 2021 ).

Adding Uber and other local food delivery platforms would be a great asset and has been in our plans. The kitchen is perfect for expanding into outside catering and bakery ( which is where we planned to go) and has a great reputation for children's party catering and adult events. We have started to offer these services to our customers, but with some investment in marketing this could take off in the area with local deliveries to businesses. We have added many strings to our bow, including a sweet shop online and in-store and an online cookie shop. These were run during the pandemic, but we, unfortunately, don't have the time to keep them running as well as the Cafe.

We also offer ice creams and waffles and included are the machines and counter to continue this.

The cafe has a large social media following and is regularly recommended locally. We also have a good reputation in the community. We have a huge amount of regulars and a wonderful team of staff. The sale includes the takeover of the Facebook and Instagram page which has over 7k followers and likes as well as the website which has over 10k visitors a month.

Our main income on weekends is from the main site being closed exclusively for:

Children's birthday parties ( with two months full of advance booking )

Regular children-led events: craft events, meet and greets with children's characters ( mascots included in sale) Halloween, Easter, and Santa events.

We believe that with the correct marketing, a great team, and someone with a real passion for business can take it to the next level. At the moment, we don't believe we can.

We recommend investment in marketing and sprucing up the areas. It will help push all the new services to the community and attract new parents to the area.

The business is priced for offers in the region of £30,000, This sale is for assets only and includes the social media pages and followers, a larger regular customer base, and a set-up business that is ready to go in theory and can trade from the 1st of December 2023. As we are not selling the business it will require renaming and rebranding as the name is not included also the signing of the remaining lease with the landlord.
