Business Details

Dog home boarding business for sale

Barking Mad has been established for 20 years in Kent. I have owned it for three years. At Barking Mad, we arrange for dogs to stay with very special host families while their owners are away on holiday. The dog, the customer and the host are happy. It makes it a very positive and satisfying workday.

It is an established and growing business, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule.

I have reduced the price to 32,500 - willing to negotiate the price for a quick sale. Currently, the annual turnover of the business is £36,000 with a 50% profit margin. The turnover is on the rise again post-covid. As we are a travel business, we were hit hard during Covid. However, we are nearing pre-covid business again.

The reason behind the sale is a change in personal circumstances. The opening hours are flexible. It currently operates from Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm and, Saturday: nine am - 1pm. The business is self-run.

We have a social media presence. The accounts will all be transferred and included in the sale.

Training will be provided by the franchise. There is admin work training, the franchise's best practices, and dog behaviour training all provided along with post-sale advice and a marketing pack.
