What is included in the sale?
The sale includes:
- The iOS app.
- Source code via Github.
What is required to keep the app operational?
This is passive income at its best as there is very little work required to keep the app operational. The focus should be on marketing the app to drive further downloads and revenue.
Why are you selling the app?
I love building products but I'm not interested in building and running a company. My goal is to create beautiful apps with proven business models that buyers can scale quickly.
How does the app generate revenue?
The app currently generates revenue through Interstitial ads (Admob) although there are other monetization strategies worth exploring such as paid downloads and/or in-app purchases. I'm happy to share other possible monetization strategies post sale.
Are there any expenses for the app? If so, what are they?
You'll need an Apple Developer Account (£79 per year). There are no other ongoing expenses other than marketing costs to drive more downloads and revenue.
What marketing initiatives have been used for the app?
The app is new to the store (added Oct 1.2021) and I haven't started marketing it yet.
How can the future owner improve the app?
The app could be improved in many ways:
- Adding a subscription tier with extra features.
- Adding TV shows reviews.
- Adding cast and crew information.
- Adding affiliate links such as Hulu, Netflix, HBO etc.
