Joe Delucci's has been in operation since 2005 and is headquartered in Warwickshire. The brand supplies high-quality wholesale gelato to customers across the UK. The brand provides over 40 vegetarian flavours, which are fat-free, vegan, non-dairy and gluten-free. All of the flavours are also available as milkshakes or smoothies.
Management:
We have a team of full time and part-time staff that currently operate the business for the company, including a full time qualified MBA as a manager. Doughnuts are delivered Daily pre 06:00, and the business starts operating around 09:30.
Gelato is delivered once a week with the option of multiple deliveries a week for busier periods. It is a low maintenance business with minimal Preparation required on-premises (e.g. Milkshakes / Smoothies / Coffee)
According to the season, staff hours vary from 115 hours in quiet periods to 150 hours in busier periods. The manager is contracted to do 40 hours from the site plus overtime if required to do any extra. Further, 30 minutes is allowed for offsite work to monitor the business on days off and do rotas.
Cold drinks, Cleaning materials, coffee cups, boxes for doughnuts are all managed offsite via online portals already set up, and the coffee beans are delivered on an ad-hoc basis as required.
