Salad Box founder Dan Isal had an idea to offer Romainians a new lifestyle, based on healthy food at affordable prices. In 2012 the first Salad Box opened in Romania’s second largest city, and within 12 months a further 12 shops were opened. Since then the brand has grown rapidly with 70 shops in 11 countries, with the first UK shop opening in London in 2017.
Consumers are now more health conscious than ever, and they possess a need for speed in having their meal delivered, while being aware that typical fast food is not a beneficial option.
Salad Box have developed a product range that consists of unlimited combinations of salad recipes, cream soups, refreshments and desserts, and the menu is constantly evolving.
Salad Box is a flexible retail format suitable for the high street or even a concession. The first UK location in London’s Brick Lane has been a resounding success with rising turnover annualised at over £500k p.a. and a loyal client base. Each Salad Box also delivers to clients using the main national delivery portals. Further locations are planned for Birmingham and Dublin later in 2019. Salad Box continues to grow internationally at a fast pace.
Salad Box locations include shopping centres, business centres, and high streets in various formats and are usually between 40 and 100 square metres.
