Business
Hilton Smythe welcomes to the market The Stag Inn.

There has been a hostelry on this site for at least 150 years and the current owner has successfully run the business since 2010. The inn is reluctantly being sold only due to our clients wish to a change of direction.

The business is well known and loved in the town and has many regular customers most of whom are known on a first name basis by the current owner. The business also benefits from high levels of footfall and passing trade.

The sale includes a quality website and the business has a visible presence on the internet.

The pub aims to offer a comfortable and friendly environment where customers can enjoy a relaxed drink and a light snack with a regular programme of live entertainment such as folk music sessions, pub quizzes, Karaoke and televised sporting events.

The business is dog friendly and has a free to play pool table and is the only pub in the town to have a piano which musically minded customers are welcome to use.

Location
Llanidloes is a town on the A470 and B4518 roads in Powys within the historic county boundaries of Montgomeryshire. Wales. The population in 2011 was just under 3000 of whom 15% could speak Welsh. The town is close to the large dam and reservoir Lyn Clywedog. There is a scenic mountain road connecting Machynlleth and Llanidloes.

Llanidloes is popular with hikers who walk on the scenic footpaths surrounding the town including Glyndwrs Way which in conjunction with the Offas Dyke path forms a 160-mile circuit around Mid Wales and local passage over the spine of the Cambrian Mountains.
The Sarn Sabrina walk- a 25 mile circular walks from Llanidloes to the source of the Severn and back- has been held yearly on the Saturday preceding the Late Spring Bank Holiday since 2006. In 2007 the Semi Sabrina, a 12 mile circular walk was added. The Halfren Forest is also used for car rallies such as Rally GB and motorcycle Enduro events throughout the year.

Llanidloes is at the heart of the ancient medieval kingdom of Arwystil, the first town on the River Severn and an ideal spot to take a break, be it just for a couple of days or a fortnight. But be warned the place is dangerously addictive. You might never want to leave.

This lovely business is situated in the town centre with on street, free car parking immediately outside.
