Performance Overview

Business details

Summary:

This listing is for three lead generation websites created in 2008.2010 and 2013 in the IVA niche. The business earns 100% of its revenue through the creation of IVA’s, Scottish Trust Deeds and Debt Management leads. The brands have grown year on year and benefit from a wide range of high-ranking keywords, through a variety of individual pages on each site. They also have high ranking independent reviews from the respected independent review company reviews. Io.

The websites are relisted now, they initially sold in February 2020 but the sale fell through due to the buyer losing their funding due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The websites are virtually zero maintenance and generates a very high amount of web leads, web chat leads and income phone calls.

To help with the transition, the seller is happy to complete a full handover including:

• Integration with your current lead management software
• Transfer of hosting and domain
• Assistance with scripting and sales process, if required

• Separate FCA Authorisation, if required

There is also a social media account for with Facebook and Instagram, though they aren’t important to its operation.

Assets Include in the Sale

• Domains and all sites contents/files • Social media accounts
• Review accounts

The current operation distributes the leads to an IVA provider, who pays a commission to the seller in turn. A prime opportunity would be available for an IVA provider to own the websites, which could increase the sale value from £900 to £3600 (dependent on the operation).

Work/Skills Required/Day to Day

The seller doesn't spend any time on the websites. All work is outsourced to an external SEO company which is billed at £5000 per month inclusive of VAT. Hosting costs £150/month and can be kept as it is or moved to your preferred host.

Opportunities and Risks

Opportunities for this business include:

  • Expanding to other products, the websites are very powerful and can generate leads on all verticals

  • Optimising social media channels

  • Emailing the huge database of clients (which have never been emailed but permissions allow)

  • Retargeting campaigns, a Facebook pixel and a Google pixel have been implemented, but never used

  • Adding further content to the website to generate more traffic

The website could benefit from re-design and further optimisations

Risks for this business include:

• Fluctuations in rankings can impact traffic to the business, although the sites have maintained steady rankings over a sustained period

Reason for Sale

The seller operated exclusively with one Insolvency Practitioner company, who have now signifi- cantly reduced their capacity and no longer have a Sales team to buy leads for.

How to Purchase

The seller will accept bank transfer for this purchase. As soon as the refundable deposit is made, they will send you the relevant information to complete the payment.
