Tesoro was started 8 years ago by it's owners, (but without any jewellery retail experience), to exploit the market for Venetian glass in the UK. Initially the trade was through craft fairs and private sales, but just over 4 years ago the range was successfully launched wholesale. Currently supplying over 200 trade customers throughout the world.
Sales are made through exhibiting at trade fairs in the UK, currently 4 or 5 per year. Retail sales are also made throughout the year by exhibiting at Craft & specific retail shows.
The products are made using Genuine Venetian hand made Murano glass beads imported into the UK and made into jewellery by the principals. The output is all sterling silver.
The current range comprises necklaces, earrings, bracelets, cufflinks & rings, all in a variety of designs and colours. Trade prices vary from £4.50 to about £30.00.
