the business has been established for the last 25 years, i bought the 4 years ago and over the years we have grown from strength to strength, establishing ourselves as one of Great Harwood's most recognised business. Both the reliablility and quality of our service and price has overshadowed any competition in the surrounding area.
the reason for selling the business is because im an amputee and the work is getting very demanding and im finding it difficult
i sell an average of around 80 - 100 tyres a week including both new and part worn, making a minimum of at least £10 - £20 per tyre depending upon the tyre size, and do around 30 - 40 puctures a week charging between £5 - £8
we have a good established customer base and being located on the main road leading into the town centre, we attract alot of passing trade. We are also located close to major reatailers such as morrisons, aldi and tesco.
i have never really advertised the business, I have only distributed a few leaflets in the local area with most advertising done via word of mouth. However the place has great potential and can been taken alot further as it's surrounded by industrial estates and other businesses.
