Our company is the North Wests leading takeaway delivery portal. We have 35 takeaways online and are adding more takeaways daily. We launched in July 2011. We are more than a just a restaurant directory – it’s a more convenient way to find a restaurant and order a takeaway for delivery. Customers can browse menus of every cuisine, read reviews, and order online from a rapidly growing selection of the best local delivery services. How does it work?
Our proposition for restaurant owners is very simple. Restaurants provide us with their standard delivery menu, which we put online with the same pricing and offers available to via our website customers as to those who order over the phone. When a customer orders via our website, we pass the order to the restaurant immediately for preparation and delivery. Each takeaway has a GPRS printer. When the order is placed by the customer, it is automatically sent to the printer residing at the takeaway. The takeaway then accepts / rejects the order and proposes a time of delivery which is automatically sent back to the customer. How do we make our money?
There is no charge for a restaurant to have their menu listed on our website. We offer independent restaurants the chance to dip a toe into the world of online ordering and compete with the big brands, without having to take the risk of developing their own website. Instead of upfront fees, we charge between 10%-12% commission on the value of each order we send (Average order is £15-£25). This structure ensures that unlike any other advertising method available to restaurants, they pay only for success. What makes us different?
We are cheaper than the takeaways themselves. We have negotiated contracts which specify this. We will not be beaten on prices. Current Issues
We have a great website and an automated back end system which our competitors do not have. We also have a unique selling point of price. To get to this point we have spent majority of our funds developing the site and are now lacking funds. I am running this business on my own with a full time job and I cannot dedicate the amount of time this business deserves. I have zero marketing experience which is the single biggest issue. Future

Once the business is fully functioning with daily orders of 10,000 UK wide then you can see the potential. Just-Eat (Main competitors) are doing in excess of 100,000 orders. As the market is still young the potential is huge. We have a great website which is very much automated and lets us expand quicker than our competitors with minimum overheads. Our idea was to expand in to other countries and it would be very quick to roll this out but limited funds and lack of marketing expertise is hindering our process.

We are looking for an investor that can invest the right amount to take this business forward. We have takeaways online, we have a great website and are ready but lack the funds and marketing experience. If we cannot find a investor we are ready to sell this business to someone who can truly take this business forward.
