It provides advertising space in a number of categories as follows
Automotive. (cars, trucks, bikes, spare parts)
Boats (power, sail, motor, parts and accessories)
Classified. (electrical, items wanted, sports goods etc)
Property (for sale (commercial, residential, holiday,
rentals (commercial, domestic, holiday, short/long term).
The next categories have not been b uilt yet.
Business Services ( plumbers, electricians, property maintenance, aromatherapy, website designers, financial services, hotels and restaurants ( hotels will be able to advertise last minute special rates, and adjust costs as they require, also both hotel and restaurants will be able to advertise their menu’s for a given day on line and make adjustments as they need too ).
What’s on! Businesses and organisation will be able to advertise, shows, concerts, lectures, in their local area. This has massive potential as a tourist information aid, allowing anyone travelling to a certain destination to simply type in the name of where they are going, and a list of events in the local area will appear.
The reason these last two categories have not been built was to allow the other categories to be occupied before adding a new category.
As can bee seen from the above, there is massive room for expansion and potential for huge profits to be made, even if you charge only 50p per week per advert, just look at what we have at present and you're looking at £1000 per week.
Running costs are negligible as are staff costs.
At present there is no charge for advertising, this is to encourage use of the site.
The site is for sale due to lose of interest following family bereavement, any reasonable offer will be considered.
The website would lend itself to any major car dealer/ estate agent, who would be able to advertise their products for free whilst gaining
local, national and international exposure at the same time. It would also lend itself to franchising.
Take into the equation that no other website would be required and that the charges incurred are the actual hosting costs £2500pa plus developement of any new categories £1500 per category.
