Through early 2005 the business was developed and such things as a purpose built marquee was ordered and a number of demonstration events were planned together with some newspaper articles featuring the shooting simulator.
This business has been based in Sheffield but is a totally mobile operation that is brought to clients premises. Unfortunately one of the original partners decided that he could not afford the time and sold his 50% share to the other partner in late 2005. Since 2006 the business has been run on a very small advertisement budget as the owner of the business had limited time available due to other work commitments. With the limited time and very limited budget the business has been used by a good number of blue chip companies at various events. The earning potential of this business is potentially very high and its worth mentioning that a days hire is usually charged around £700-£1000 although this can vary depending where the event is held etc. Quite a number of the events we have attended have seen us literally operate the system for a couple of hours but the charge is still based on a full/half day rate. As far as running costs and profit is concerned the business is normally operated using the clients own power supply. This means that the main costs are fuel for the vehicle you travel in the get to the event. The business is seriously under achieving and really requires a full advertisement campaign to get the business operating to its full potential. On operational days the system has been run either with a single member of staff or with a maximum of 2 to operate the system.
