Background Information on Aylesbury: Aylesbury is a good investment area. If you look back 10 years ago people were moving out of London to the end of the tube lines ( Amersham and Beaconsfield are good example of this) Now house prices are too high and this trend is pushing people further and further out. The tube time into London from these locations are approximately 50 minutes. Aylesbury is 50 minutes on the train into Marylebone.

1. Chiltern railways has increased the number of trains to Marylebone to accommodate the extra people commuting from Aylesbury.
2. Chiltern railways has extended the train line with a new station, there is talk of putting in an east west, west east route as the normal route would be via London to get to Milton Keynes or Oxford. 30 minutes by car, currently over 2 hours on the train.
3. Aylesbury vale district council have announced 20, 000 new homes in the area.
4. A new road infrastructure has been implemented to take account of more traffic
5. £110, 000, 000 re-development of the town centre shopping area is due to start shortly including a new Waitrose super market. (A sure sign the area is on the up).
6. The new Aylesbury Waterside theatre has been built 500m away from Ardenwood bed and breakfast at a cost of £36, 000, 000. Ardenwood is currently the closest accommodation to the theatre.
