Balchao is a thriving fine dining concept serving innovative and contemporary fusion cuisine inspired by flavours of the Asian sub-continent, which are tastefully blended to cater for British taste buds.
We take pride in serving the local community and welcome visitors beyond Manchester. Through our diverse menu and the trust and praise put on us by our customers, we have enjoyed the number one position out of 109 restaurants on Tripadvisor in Altrincham since May 2022, just a few months since we opened our doors.
Since June 2022, we were further entrusted to be voted as the number one restaurant by followers of Altrincham HQ (Social Media Agency).
Balchao is also proud to be awarded a recommendation badge by Restaurant Guru, which is one of the world's most famous foodie websites, with over 30 million monthly users taking our name and virtual footprint around the globe.
Balchao won The Best UK Newcomer Asian Restaurant Award at Asian Restaurants Awards in June 2022 and The Best UK Newcomer Of The Year Award in North England at the Asian Curry Awards held in London in December 2022.
Logistically, Balchao enjoys a prime location at the very heart of Hale, one of the most affluent and thriving areas in the North West. We are only a mile away from Manchester Airport and the motorway links. There is ample free local car parking which is always a bonus.
The restaurant has been elegantly decorated to a very high standard. It has an open bar area, live & open plan kitchen and grill, which is thoroughly appreciated by all our beloved customers and is unique for this area. Although we operate in the evening, there is further scope for lunchtime trade, which is yet to be explored by any new enthusiast.
